A one-minute movement break between meetings

No equipment, special clothes or perfect technique—just a brief change of position.

Try this

  1. Look away. Let your eyes settle on something farther away from the screen.
  2. Change position. Stand if that feels comfortable, or sit tall with both feet supported.
  3. Move gently. Roll the shoulders once or twice, then reach the arms in a direction that feels easy.
  4. Take two unforced breaths. Notice rather than judge.
  5. Return. Keep any part of the reset that helped.
Movement should feel manageable. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness or another concerning symptom.

The point is not to “fix” a day at the desk in sixty seconds. It is to interrupt one position and create a small cue you can repeat.
